1. CONTEST ORGANIZER

2. CONTEST PERIOD

The contest begins on November 7, 2025 at 16:00 and ends on November 31, 2025 at 23:59 (Eastern Time). All entries must be received within this period to be eligible.

3. ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of SLY Foods, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to the administration of this contest are not eligible to participate.

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the contest, participants must:

• Scan the QR code at the SLY Foods booth during the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival

• Complete the online entry form with their name, email address, and flavor preferences

• Accept these contest rules

Limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

5. PRIZE

One (1) winner will receive a SLY adventure kit with an approximate retail value of $213 CAD, including:

• Six (6) SLY Foods freeze-dried meals

• Outdoor gear: portable camping chair, camp cooking system, silicone measuring container

The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or exchanged for cash. SLY Foods reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. WINNER SELECTION

The winner will be selected by random draw on December 1, 2025 from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The draw will be conducted by SLY Foods or its designated representative.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM

The selected winner will be notified by email within 5 business days of the draw. The winner must respond within 5 days of notification to claim their prize. Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant must:

• Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid

• Sign and return a Declaration of Compliance and Release Form

If the selected entrant does not respond within the specified time, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or does not comply with these rules, they will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected by random draw from the remaining eligible entries.

8. PRIZE DELIVERY

The prize will be shipped to the winner's address within Canada at no cost to the winner, or arranged for pickup as mutually agreed. SLY Foods is not responsible for any delays in shipping or any damage that may occur during transit.

9. PRIVACY AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information collected through this contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and, with consent, for sending marketing communications from SLY Foods. Participants may withdraw their consent to receive marketing communications at any time. Personal information will be handled in accordance with SLY Foods' Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described in these rules.

10. PUBLICITY RELEASE

By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, city of residence, photograph, and testimonial by SLY Foods for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering this contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless SLY Foods, its employees, directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

SLY Foods is not responsible for:

• Lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries

• Technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions or failures

• Errors in contest administration or prize fulfillment

• Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the contest​

12. GENERAL CONDITIONS

SLY Foods reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond SLY Foods' reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest. In such cases, SLY Foods reserves the right to award the prize from eligible entries received prior to the action taken.

All decisions made by SLY Foods regarding this contest are final and binding.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.​
