1. CONTEST ORGANIZER

2. CONTEST PERIOD

The contest begins on December 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM (EST) and ends on May 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM (EST) (“Contest Period”).  

The Contest Period is divided into two (2) entry periods, each with its own random draw:  

• Period 1: December 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026  

• Period 2: March 1, 2026 - May 31, 2026

Entries received during a given period will be eligible only for that period’s draw. All non-winning entries will not roll over to the next draw.

3. ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of SLY Foods, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to the administration of this contest are not eligible to participate.​

​

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the contest, participants must:  

• Obtain a SLY sample pack distributed during the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour.  

• Scan the QR code printed on the sample pack to access the official contest entry form.  

• Complete the entry form with their name, email address, and flavor preferences.  

• Accept these contest rules before submitting the form.  

Limit of one (1) entry per person per entry period. Multiple entries from the same person within the same period will be disqualified.

5. PRIZE

One (1) winner per entry period will receive a prize consisting of $300 CAD in SLY Foods freeze-dried meals (minimum total retail value).

​

The prize will include an assortment of SLY Foods freeze-dried meals selected by SLY Foods.

 

In addition to the meals, the prize will also include SLY-branded outdoor gear, including a portable camping chair, a camp cooking system, and a silicone measuring container.

 

The total value of meals awarded will not be reduced by the inclusion of accessories or outdoor gear.

 

The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or exchanged for cash. SLY Foods reserves the right to substitute individual items with others of equal or greater value, provided the minimum total value of $300 CAD in SLY meals is maintained.

For clarity, all eligible entries received prior to any updates made to the prize description will receive a prize of equal or greater value than what was originally presented at the time of entry.

6. WINNER SELECTION

A random draw will be held within five (5) business days following the end of each entry period, from all eligible entries received during that period.  

Draw dates are as follows :  

• First Draw: March 6, 2026  

• Second Draw: June 5, 2026  

Each draw will be conducted by SLY Foods or its designated representative.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM

The selected winner will be notified by email within 5 business days of the draw. The winner must respond within 5 days of notification to claim their prize. Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant must:  

• Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid; and  

• Sign and return a Declaration of Compliance and Release Form.  

If the selected entrant does not respond within the specified time, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or does not comply with these rules, they will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected by random draw from the remaining eligible entries.

8. PRIZE DELIVERY

The prize will be shipped to the winner's address within Canada at no cost to the winner, or arranged for pickup as mutually agreed. SLY Foods is not responsible for any delays in shipping or any damage that may occur during transit.

9. PRIVACY AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information collected through this contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and, with consent, for sending marketing communications from SLY Foods. Participants may withdraw their consent to receive marketing communications at any time. Personal information will be handled in accordance with SLY Foods' Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described in these rules.

10. PUBLICITY RELEASE

By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, city of residence, photograph, and testimonial by SLY Foods for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering this contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless SLY Foods, its employees, directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

SLY Foods is not responsible for:

• Lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries

• Technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions or failures

• Errors in contest administration or prize fulfillment

• Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the contest​

12. GENERAL CONDITIONS

SLY Foods reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond SLY Foods' reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest. In such cases, SLY Foods reserves the right to award the prize from eligible entries received prior to the action taken.

All decisions made by SLY Foods regarding this contest are final and binding.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.​
